NYU/IBS Global Pioneer Fellowship (GPF)
Joint Postdoctoral Research Program
IBS GPF is the postdoctoral fellowship program of Institute for Basic Science (IBS) Center for Nanomedicine, offering opportunity to qualified Korean researchers to work at globally prestigious laboratories through collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches.
This IBS GPF is offered by IBS in collaboration with Prof. Buzsaki lab in NYU Langone Health, and we provide the selected fellow the stipend up to 3 years maximum and the global research collaboration opportunity between IBS and NYULH. The Fellow will participate in neuroscience and neuromodulation research with novel nanotechnologies of magnetogenetics and will join a research team of PIs from NYU (György Buzsáki) and IBS CNM at Yonsei University (Jinwoo Cheon).The start date of the fellow is negotiable, and both immediate and delayed start is possible.
Duration: Maximum 3 years (renewal based on annual evaluation)
Fellowship: Stipend 60,000 USD/year*
Eligibility: Korean Scientists with Ph.D. degree holders
Workplace: Residency at both institutions (Majority time would be at NYU with negotiable period)
