    이틀 걸리던 코로나 검사가 단 17분에… 국내연구진이 해냈다

    현장에서 17분 내에 코로나 검사를 할 수 있는 진단장비가 국내에서 개발됐다. 기초과학연구원(IBS) 나노의학 연구단 천진우 단장(연세대 교수) 연구진은 “나노물질을 이용해 코로나 바이러스를 17분 내에 정확히 검출하는 현장진단(POC) 기술을 개발했다”고 3일 국제학술지 ‘네이처 바이오메디컬 엔지니어링’에 발표했다. 연구는 이재현 IBS 연구위원(연세대 고등과학원 교수)과 하버드 의과대학 이학호 교수 연구진과 공동으로 진행됐다.

    Changing the Scope of Medical Diagnosis

    How to Become a Promising Researcher

    SCIENCE FACTORY (SF@Y) is a research program conducted by the Institute of Basic Science for Nanomedicine (IBS CNM) for undergraduate students at Yonsei University. The center established SF@Y last year as a way to foster promising young researchers who are passionate about science. Undergraduates from any major are eligible to apply, making it a unique opportunity for students to develop and carry out a full-fledged research project even with minimal prior experience.
